The Study Of Port Industrial Cluster Development In Dalian

Nowadays, not only developing countries but also developed countries, not only high and new technology industries but also traditional labor-intensive industries, all of them have industrial clusters. Along with the evolution of the port industries development, which leads to accumulation of both port leading industry and related industry, this is the formation of the port industry cluster. Dalian as an important port in northeast Asia, is to being built into international shipping center, international logistics center and international financial center, the port industry is developing rapidly. Therefore, making research about the development of Dalian port industrial cluster has important practical significance, it would strengthen the competitiveness of the Dalian port industry and drive economic development of Dalian, at last, it would promote the development of economy in northeast Asia. However, port industrial cluster is a complex system, its development will affected by a lot of factors.Therefore, the study of port industry cluster is very necessary.This thesis was divided into six parts. The first part study the background, significance, current research at home and abroad and writing ideas.The second part introduced the related concepts and theory, gave three development models of port industrial cluster and two kinds of evolution path about port industry cluster development.The third part made the qualitative analysis of Dalian port industry cluster and pointed out the strengths and weaknesses of the Dalian port industry cluster.The fourth part gave lots of examples of the port industry development at home and abroad, which improved lots of useful ideas to Dalian port industry cluster development.The fifth part was empirical analysis of Industrial correlativeness degree and industrial concentration degree of Dalian port industry cluster, from the result, we could confirm the present stage of development model and future evolution path of Dalian port industrial cluster. The last part of this paper was a summary. It based on the previous chapters and gave some suggestions of how to speed up the development of Dalian port industrial cluster.
