The Evaluation And Research Of Port Logistics Informatization Efficiency Based On DEA Modeling

Accompanied with the rapid development of the world’s economy, China has been one of the most important port logistics countries in the world, so port logistics informatization construction is becoming more urgent. After the reform and opening up, the footstep of port logistics informatization construction is speeding up. The application of informatization in port logistics is intensified. Various kinds of advanced technologies, such as automatic identification technology, automatic sorting technology, satellite positioning technology, container electronic identification and logistics simulation technology, auxiliary decision technology will be implicated in port logistics field. Gradually transforming port logistics from "labor-intensive" to "skill-intensive", and realizing port logistics’paperless operation and management, improve its competitiveness.Most of the evaluation of informatization is based on investment, leaving just a small part focusing on the performance. The performance evaluation of port logistics informatization mainly concentrated on two parts:evaluate the process, evaluate the effect of the port logistics informatization, offering important reference to the port operators to gain the value of the port logistics supply chain. The performance evaluation is the basis of selecting and constructing of port logistics informatization, also it has been one of the hot issues in the related field. This essay attempted to evaluate the performance of the port logistics information construction of 14 ports, got the development status and specified the primary objectives and direction of the port logistics informatization construction of these ports.This essay analyzed the influencing factors, then established the performance evaluation system. Together with the DEA model, the author discussed the port logistics informatization:according to the DEA theory, defined the volume of the input-output, got the DEA efficiency value, making it the basis of the performance evaluation of port logistics informatizaion.In the end, the author made a summary of port logistics informatization and talked about its direction of future development, as well as the methods and targets.
