Research On Business Model Evaluation Of The Logistics Public Information Platform

The construction of logistics public information platform (PILP), on the one hand, is the key of the development of modern logistics, on the other hand, greatly promotes the development of modern logistics forward. Much investment flocked to join the construction of the PILP and many different functions of operation platform brings into service, but the platform which gets most success is not very much. The successful operation and survive and getting sustainable development for the platform is there are enough customers to use the platform and the customers can bring business benefits to the platform. So choosing reasonable business operation mode for the construction of logistics public information platform has very important significance.Based on the analysis of the external operation environment of the platform and the current situation of the platform’s business model in three dimensions elements-the customer value, resources and ability, the profit model, this paper attempts to establish a viable index system and choose the unascertained measure model to evaluate the value of the business model of the platform.First of all, the paper uses PEST analysis method to analysis the external operation environment of the platform in qualitative; Second, the paper proposes the business model which match the trait of the platform borrowed the classification method of the business model components form domestic and foreign scholars, and analysis the current situation of the platform’s business model in three dimensions elements; Then, the index system of the business model is established based of the SDBSC(Six-dimensional Balanced Scorecard) and unascertained measure model is chosen to evaluate the value of the business model of the platform; Finally, two different platforms are selected for empirical study and some optimization proposals are proposed.
