Research On Adjustment Of Industrial Structure Of Resource-based Cities

The development of resource-based cities relies on the development and utilization of resources. Resource extraction and initial processing industry make a major contribution to the resource-based cities economy. Resource-based cities development often dependent on resource and the industry structure is relatively simple. However, the exploitation of resources is not endless due to the non-renewable resources. Resource-based cities use the resources to develop economy will become higher, which is the reason to write this essay.This essay is based on the theory of the general theory of resource-based cities and industrial structure, including resource-based city classification, stage of development and features, three industries division theory and life-cycle theory. In this paper, the method of analysis of industrial structure is shift-share analysis, which is been put into use to Shuozhou’s industrial structure a comprehensive analysis. Analysis on the status of the overall industrial structure and the three industries structure of Shuozhou, including comprehensive development capacity is low, Duality of the industrial structure is obvious, Unreasonable proportion of the investment structure in the inter-industry. And then, through drawing on the successful experience of foreign industrial restruction, I’ve got suggestion to each industry of Shuozhou.
