Jingdezhen is famous of porcelain industry which supports the economy of the city for a thousand years. The evolution of porcelain coordinates with history of Jingdezhen and making significant contribution as well as its impact to the city. Even though, Jingdezhen has been loosing its status from the battle of market competition during the recent20years as the macroeconomic environment changes, especially in the export sector. One of the factors which restrict the export is the pertinacity of original channel of export trade instead of keeping pace with economic development. The porcelain export trade channel of Jingdezhen represents the disadvantages as singleness and dispersive, it is essential to make optimize study on export channel system of Jingdezhen in order to reestablish its market status. The content of this dissertation will be mainly divided into seven chapters, which from the angle of path, market strategies and political environment to analyze.Chapter one expounds the background and signification of optimization, and will explain the core concept associate with references to export trade channel related, also a brief introduction to main contents, logical framework, research, analysis methods, innovation and deficiency. Chapter two will analyze the impact of mechanism on porcelain export channel supported by relevant economic theory and to establish the core proposition. Chapter three focus on the paths of Jingdezhen porcelain export channel analysis, which covers a period of evolution process from1913and their disadvantages. Combining with the present Jingdezhen market strategy of foreign trade, chapter four will point out those factors which against the development of export. The fifth chapter takes a study on Jingdezhen political environment of foreign trade, analyzing the current foreign trade policies and management system, market infrastructure, transport facilities, communications and international settlements etc those factors which would restrict the development of export channel. From the angle of path, market strategy and political environment, chapter six will make a contrast between Jingdezhen and Chao Zhou with the development of foreign trade. Chapter seven is to establish an optimized foreign trade system through the request and method of system establishment, provisions of economics, and the selections of evaluation indicators, the method of measurement, the criterions and rating of evaluation. Chapter eight will provide the conclusion of this dissertation with recommendations on Jingdezhen porcelain foreign trade. The core point of view of this dissertation is that the path, market strategy and political environment are the major factors which influence the efficiency of Jingdezhen foreign trade. On the basis, combining the existing market conditions of Jingdezhen with expert attitude and arrangement method to establish the system of foreign trade. Furthermore, from transaction frequency, assets purpose, trade environment of stability, complexity and trading links performance costs, product line to the various trading channels in the concentration of solutions for comparative analysis and ranking. Empirical evidence shows that the scheme of Jingdezhen foreign trade is the sort of electronic commerce, foreign business forum, open branch, direct exports and choice of agent for export. Finally, the main suggestions to improve the channels is to realize diversity and modernization, explore new ideas and promote innovation, making a scientific foreign trade market and develop superior channel cycle.
