With the tilt of the national hydropower development policy, China’s hydropower is experiencing centralized and strong development boom which have no precedent in the recorded history. This will directly affect the relationship between supply and demand of hydropower professionals. Since2009, Datang Wujiang Pengshui hydropower station arisen the phenomena of staff wastage continuously, which have been significantly affected to its production safety. It a big challenge to face the phenomena of staff wastage, this paper expect to solve the problem of staff wastage in Datang Wujiang Pengshui hydropower station through intensive study. It try to find out strategies to reduce the risk of staff wastage, ensure the production’s safety in Datang Wujiang Pengshui hydropower station.This paper uses a combination of management-related theoretical knowledge, through the way of literature search, job-site survey, questionnaire surveys, statistics and analysis, make a deep analysis in the overview, staff structure, staff turnover, the current situation, staff turnover factors in Datang Wujiang Pengshui hydropower station, and identify the external factors, the organized own factors and personal factors which affecting staff turnover. In this paper believe that the important factors affecting staff turnover in Datang Wujiang Pengshui hydropower are inappropriate recruitment, lacking of staff turnover early warning mechanism, poor incentive effects, bad cultural atmosphere of enterprises, poor management of staff training, rough management of staff demission and so on. Finally, based on the above analysis, this paper suggest to solve the problem of staff turnover through improving the recruitment management, building staff turnover early warning mechanism, establishing an effective incentive mechanism, strengthening corporate culture, improving management of staff training, paying more attention to management of staff demission.According to the this paper’s analysis, in order to ensure Datang Wujiang Pengshui hydropower station’s safety in production, we must pay attention to the staff turnover problem.Through serious research on staff turnover, find out coping strategies, improve organized management level, reduce the risk of staff turnover.
