In the last few years, all kinds of natural disasters that were destructive broke out. Lots of infrastructure and houses have been badly damaged, so a great deal of restoration and reconstruction work needs to be done as soon as possible. As post-disaster reconstruction projects are pressed for the time and numerous, with large amounts of money in need and high construction standard, the post project evaluation of post-disaster reconstruction is particularly important. The implementation of the post project evaluation, on the one hand, can improve the efficiency of the resources allocation and the credibility of the government. On the other hand, it is really good to evaluate benefits of the post-disaster reconstruction project, to sum up the experience and to perfect our post assessment system. In this paper, by analyzing the development of both the foreign and domestic post project evaluation in theory and practice, the author finds out the problems and deficiencies existing in both the application and the theory of domestic post evaluation that can be used in after-disaster reconstruction projects. After the reductive summing-up of other people’ study and the related theoretical knowledge, four methods are introduced and the post evaluation index system is set up, which aims at the after-disaster reconstruction. Meanwhile, the author takes the reconstruction of a school for example to make analysis and discussion. It proves that the index system and methods are exercisable. Ultimately, a conclusion is come to and some suggestions are put forward to improve the post project evaluation of post-disaster reconstruction in our country.
