Study On The Relationship Between The Urbanization And Industrialization In Shandong Province Coupling

Urbanization and industrialization are two aspects of social and economical developmentprocess. And industrialization is the lasting power of development urbanization. Whether in acountry or a region, the speed of urbanization is not favorable to promote the the whole processof economical development until its pace adapting to industrialization’s, matching with itsdevelopment level and economical base. If beyond the scope of ability, such phenomena asemployment shortage, poverty population increasing, and serious polarization may occur.Conversely, if lag behind the industrialization process, it would hamper economical development.The coupling relationship of urbanization and industrialization are divided into threecircumstances:the coordinated development, urbanization lags behind the industrialization,urbanization staying ahead of the industrialization. But the specific to different developmentlevel, the different development type of countries, the coupling relationship betweenindustrialization and urbanization have different development modes. As a developingagricultural country, China besides having the characteristics of general developing countries,also has some particularity. Its regional internal differences is remarkable, the relationshipbetween urbanization and industrialization were much more complicated. Therefore, the study ofcoupled development of urbanization and industrialization from Shandong not only hasimportant practical significance, but also has the obvious theoretical significance andreference.The paper based on this analysis perspective,trying to evaluate and analyse thecoupling relationship between urbanization and industrialization of shandong province from theAngle of regional differences,in order to provide new study angle of the developmentrelationship between urbanization and industrialization in shandong province.Based on the basic theory of urbanization and industrialization and the actual situation ofshandong province, the article first make a theoretical analysis of the development ofurbanization and industrialization, which is the foundation of this theoretical basis;and then theurbanization and industrialization development experience at home and abroad wassummarized,as the important reference to analyse urbanization and industrialization developmentin shandong province.This paper’s core part is to use the international standard method and thechenery standard model to analyse and evaluate the urbanization and industrialization process inshandong province and their coupling relationship. Because of Shandong province regionaleconomic development has the obvious unbalance, in addition to urbanization andindustrialization in different areas are in different stages of development,so the article on theregional differences of urbanization and industrialization in Shandong Province were analyzedand classified, pointed out reasons for the deviation of Shandong Province’s urbanization andindustrialization. Finally, the paper proposed ideas and countermeasures: play an active role ofthe center city,vigorously developing the tertiary industry,improve unbalanced districtdevelopment, change traditional ideas and so on.The study found that Shandong Province has entered the later stages of industrializationoverall. The deviation of the level of urbanization and industrialization is gradually reduced,thecoupling relationship of the two get to the good trend of development.However,the overallprocess of urbanization is still lagging behind in the process of industrialization. Then,theintra-regional differences are significant. Clustering analysis of17cities in Shandong Province in accordance with the deviation of urbanization and industrialization,which is divided into fourlevels. The distribution of the deviation degree of urbanization and industrialization is high in theEast and low in the West, which is ladder-like distribution. The process of urbanization of thewestern regions generally lags behind the process of industrialization. The two central cities ofthe province, Jinan and Qingdao,distributed in the eastern and central of Shandong Provinceseparately,whose relationship of urbanization and industrialization coupled coordination.
