A Research On Coupling Coordinated Issue Of Urbanization And Industrialization In Regions Of China

The level of urbanization and industrialization apparently reflects the economic development of a country or one region.There is a relationship of mutual influence between them:industrialization provides the impetus for the development of urbanization.At the same time,development of urbanization provides a good space for industrialization.The coordinated development of urbanization and industrialization is the important guarantee of sustainable and healthy development of economic society In China,a vast,due to the difference of factors as geographical location,natural resources and the development strategies,the progress of coupling coordination of urbanization and industrialization develops into a large difference in three regions of China.So the study of regional urbanization and industrialization coordination of space-time evolution has important significance for analyzing from a more comprehensive perspective to an objective understanding of the law of interaction of urbanization and industrialization.Based on those,the article analysis the internal mechanism of urbanization and industrialization's coordinated development.Adhering to the scientific and effective principles,selecting index of urbanization and industrialization measure.And establishing the evaluation system of urbanization and industrialization's coordinated development.We use year 2002—2014 provincial panel data of urbanization and industrialization in our country,using the coupling coordination model,researching coupling coordinated issues of urbanization and industrialization in China.Based on the countrywide sample,the article make an overall level analysis of industrialization and urbanization coordinated development of China firstly,and then from the sub-regional transversely comparative perspective analyzing the coordination of urbanization and industrialization of China's three areas.We draw the following two conclusions:First,overall,the level of coordination of urbanization and industrialization in our country is not high.The last decade has been in barely coordination level.It means that China's urbanization and industrialization failed to form a better joint development,which is caused by lack of industrialization early,in recent years the reasons for this imbalance has gradually transformed into lagging behind of urbanization.For now,the development of urbanization should also focus on the expansion of the scale of urbanization,both to enhance the quality of urbanization,development of industrialization should be focusing on quality improvement,and the goal should be placed on the promotion of the per capita share of the results of industrialization.Second,the regional level,the coupling coordination status of urbanization and industrialization of China presented the eastern region above middle and east than the west.the situation in the eastern region at the primary level of coordination,Midwest region are at barely coordination level,the cause of the poor coupling of urbanization and industrialization have regional differences.As with the province from one region has more close dynamic relationship,and we often take province from one region as the reference object,therefore basing on partitioning samples to make a more detailed inter-provincial analysis of coupling coordination of urbanization and industrialization in three regions.Analysis of inter-provincial in regions,the eastern urbanization and industrialization's coupling coordination have a great degree of provincial differences,the provincial development imbalance.the provinces' coupling coordination degree of urbanization and industrialization program at more gentle change trends,The provinces have different development trend,provincial differences become larger by year trend.Central region provinces' coupling level of coupling coordination of provincial gap is smaller,the provinces develop more balance,from the time series,the central region provinces'urbanization and industrialization's coupling coordination degree vary widely,generally increase year by year.Provincial coordination level of urbanization and industrialization of the western region is relatively not balanced,provincial urbanization and industrialization's coupling coordination degree path twists and turns shock,have a strong instability,the coupling coordination degree of provincial gap bigger year by yearFinally,this article extended corresponding policy implications,Easter's core is to enhance the quality of urbanization and industrialization,and should mainly go to large cities led intensive road of urbanization,industrialization and development in order to optimize the industrial structure based.Central and western regions should strengthen the leading role played by industrialization and urbanization,the central region to accelerate the growth of existing cities in the size and improve the quality of development on the basis of the center of the city,aspects of industrialization efforts to transform the economic growth mode,the formation of large-scale industrial clusters,attract more employment.The process of urbanization in the western region should improve the function of city-building,distinctive,strong comprehensive carrying capacity of small towns and small cities development compact urban agglomerations,industrial aspects,based on consideration of ecological protection and sustainable development,can be reduced industrialization rate.
