As a newly emerging industry, property management has developed rapidly along with China’s housing system reform. However, property management’s profit level has been placed on a low level, thus belongs to the low profit industry. Some property management enterprises even suffer losses.Taking XX property project as the research object, this paper begins with XX property project’s cost composition, the key points and measures for property projects’ cost management, and then studies material purchase cost, equipment maintenance cost and cost of public energy used. on the premise of ensuring service quality level, this paper tends to find the breakeven point, establish an effective cost control system, and enhance property projects’profitability, then finally reaches the purpose of maintaining,increasing the value of assets and sustainable development.Through this paper’s research, we find that if we properly control the labor cost, material purchase cost, equipment maintenance cost and cost of public energy used, then we can certainly make profits on property management project.
