Research On Huatong Logistics Management Information System

With the vigorous development of modern logistics and the competition from international and domestic logistics industry, how traditional railway transport enterprises expand to modern logistics areas, and extend freight service chain, is the current primary subject to be researched and solved. Railway enterprises of diversified business must rely on the advantage of railway transporation, and change from "sales capacity" to "marketing integrated service". This paper takes Baotou Huatong logistics company as the research object, researches a pattern and develops a management information system which is suitable for modern railway logistics enterprises.This paper first introduces the concept of modern logistics, discusses the necessity of developing railway modern logistics, analyzes the modern railway logistics development’s advantages and disadvantages, points out Huatong logistics management information system’s origin, and the significance of the research. Then the paper introduces the general situation of Baotou Huatong logistics company, and analyze the current operating status. Based on the demand analyse, it proposes the optimizing operation scheme. Also this paper designs Huatong logistics management system of the overall system structure and function modules.
