The containerized traffic in the enhancement transportation efficiency, the reduced damage to goods loss in transported goods, the guarantee transportation quality, the protection ecological environment and so on many aspects has the prominent superiority, along with the information technology development, the economics and trade commodity structure unceasing change, the international trade and the technological exchange expansion, has accelerated the global containerization advancement. The construction railway container logistics center manage information system, taps the transportation potential fully, enhances the transportation efficiency unceasingly, and transports the transport charges source by the limited transport capacity to complete the more transportation task, well will promote the social economy benefit and the railway transportation benefit enhancement. This article unifies our country railway container logistics center closely the characteristic and the management and operation, transportation system’s need, mainly has studied following several aspect content:1) Has studied our country’s railway containerized traffic and Container Information Status, through to the present situation analysis, has discussed the existing service flow and the information system insufficiency and the flaw, controlled the gap with the overseas railway containerized traffic and the container shipping, obtained the necessity of the constructing rail container logistics center management information system.2) Has studied our country railway container logistics center business process, analyzed present Container handling process, combined with the development trend of container transportation and logistics center construction plan, optimized the business process design.3) Through business process planning, has analyzed the rail container logistics center management information system design principles and key elements, studied the framework of the system components, physical structure, logical structure and functional structure.4) As a rail container logistics center management information system’s core functionality, focused on the intelligent station building, research how RFID, GPS.
