At present, There is barely a research on Tourism Interpretation from the community residents’ point as a starting point, although the tourism interpretation research content is becoming more and more widely, but for community residents in tourism interpretation of special research are so less, accordingly, strengthen the contents of the study, can enrich tourism interpretation and community participation in research. Based on the community participation in tourism interpretation theory as the support, as the research object of study. In the course of the study, requires the introduction of sociology, psychology, behavioral science, statistics and other areas of theory and research method, obtains the related community participation results and guidance.This research choose the Miao village of Fenghuang County as the research object, discusses in the resident participation in tourism interpretation of behavior, qualitative investigation and interview method to elaborate in the resident participation in tourism interpretation, which involved residents participation attitude, participation behavior, participation, participation in a way that few as main content, and in October2011I go to the villages around fenghuang county including Guantianshan village, Shanjiang village and Laodong village to make the investation.The final results show that Miao village residents to participate in tourism interpretation recognition is quite high, and the main reasons from economic factors to stimulate.
