| Ningbo manufacturing industry has gradually shaken off its former "low, small, scattered" development incompetency, and it has been embarked on forging an industrial cluster combining the traditional manufacturing, port manufacturing and high-tech industries. With large industry, branding, great-leap-forward development as its merits, the city is substantially benefited from the industrial cluster. On the other hand, Ningbo is still in the infant stage of industrial clusters, our strength lies in the regional economy and characteristic economy which is much attached on low-cost, low-price strategy, high homogeneity and disorderly competitions are not conducive to industrial transformation and Ningbo international competitiveness.This thesis is focusing on the 29 C-type manufacturing industries, regarding the local industrial agglomeration index, spatial gini index, regional specialization index, and come out the conclusion as follows:①Ningbo manufacturing was highly-concentrated, and a steady upward trend;②spatial agglomeration in general tends to decrease significantly as the port industry increase otherwise;③regional specialization index show a downward trend, and there is a certain cohesive chain of regional economic development level;④generally industry speciation index are fairly high,which keep pace with spatial Gini index. Based on the conclusions, the author proposed three policies concerning the layout of the manufacturing industry, Ningbo City:1, Ningbo industry general layout in the national 12th five-year plan on the whole should guide the proliferation of development.2, repot the special industries of Ningbo manufacturing, hi-tech industry and the scale of pay increase, should guide the direction of development project.3, the government should take measures to motivate and encourage and guide the intermediary organization to participate in cluster development and strengthening of industrial clusters effect. |
