The Corporation Size Under The Industry Cluster Of The Manufacturing In Zhejiang Province

Chinese economy has already evolved from its embryonic period to its rapid growth period after 30 years effort of reforming and opening. And industry cluster becomes one major study subject in Chinese economy as the transformation of economic systems and development of economy. Although studies in industry cluster refer to a broad field, people almost don’t pay their attention to the study referring to micro-corporation. However, as we known, corporation, the micro constituent part of every industry, is crucial part for industrial organization and market structure. And hence, researches on size of corporation play an important role in improving the development of specific corporations and relevant industries. In some developed countries, many scholars have already proved that industry cluster has positive correlation with size of corporation. However this relationship has not been verified in developing countries like China.In this article, I firstly summarize relevant studies of foreign scholars and current studies about the relationship between industry cluster and corporation size in the world. Based on the above summaries, I find out the current situation and then primarily research how and by which ways the industry affects corporation size. Secondly, I research this topic in terms of theoretical analysis and model analysis and use the manufacture of Zhejiang province as one example to demonstrate my prior hypothesis. I find that for the manufacture of Zhejiang province, industry cluster on the scale of firm has a positive effect whether general or industry. Finally I analyze advises coming from other academic researchers in the world and give my own recommendations about industry arrange, corporation size and relevant policies.
