The Selection Of The Superseded Leading Industries Of Resource-Based City

Due to the non-renewable and exhaustible of resources, the industrial transformation of resource-based cities is inevitable to achieve sustainable development, then, the key of successful transformation is the new leading industries’ development. Choose the exact and strengthen the growth of superseded industry, is a strategic choice for resource-based cities to achieve transformation.In this paper, on the basis of a systematic review of progress,combined industry theory and regional leading industry choice theory, the author sum up the general procedures and methods of superseded leading industry choice of resource-based cities. Then, analyze the situation of Shuozhou City Industry Development using quantitative and qualitative methods based on large amounts of data, make the growth stage resource-based city--Shuozhou as the object, use the factor analysis method, build model and index system, and finally choose the superseded leading industries of Shuozhou.Paper is divided into six chapters, the first two chapters introduce related concepts,theory and practice of the situation; Combined the second chapter, the third chapter discuss the principle of choice of superseded strategic industry and comprehensive analysis; Chapters4and5is the main part of the paper, first discusses the overview of Shuozhou economic development and the existing problems; then,use the factor analysis method, build model and index system and finally choose the superseded leading industries of Shuozhou. Chapter VI is the conclusion thesis, Retrospect and Prospect.
