Exploration Of Succeed Leading Industry Choice On The Resource-based Cities

The Particularity of the resource - based cities makes economic transition become the only road after the cities developing into the certain stage. Nowdays, there are more than 100 such cities, taking up a large percentage in our country, how to realize industry conversion for the sustainable development of the cities is one urgent problem, and which is also one of the studies of regional economics. In this thesis, a lot of information is used to analyze the current situation of Baiyin city by using the positive study and case study, and the research object is how to choose leading industry. The research conclusions provide the decision-making basis for the government, and help other related cities choose their own leading industries .The paper contains such main contents: At first, documents are recalled and referred, then we analyze these research progresses of related research field. Second, we investigate the development of Baiyin' s industries. According to some statistics , we use the theories of industries structure quantitative analysis to analyze the industry structure of Baiyin. Third, we also define the features of leading industry, choose the principles of leading industry , and then in accordance with the statistical data, we select industry indicators, establish factor analysis model to select Baiyin' s leading industries. At the end of the paper, we make some retrospect and prospect.
