The Research On Substituent Leading Industries Of Tangshan In The Economy Conversion

Resource-based industries are the leading parts of resource-based cities.The rapid development of these cities is because of their abundant resources.Once their resources use up, the development will be low. The first thing whatresource-based cities faced is how to achieve the successful transitioneconomies before the gradual depletion of resources and achieve sustainabledevelopment. Taking Tangshan City as an economic restructuring case in thispaper, we talk about how to choose substituent industries. What hasresearched can provide decision support for the economic transformation ofTangshan City, and provide the experience for other resource-based industries.Tangshan is a coastal industrial city. It is close to Bohai, Yanshan,Qinhuangdao, Beijing and Tianjin. It is northeast link to north. The coal andiron ore is abundant, but because of its high dependence on resources, therehave many specific problems of resource-based cities in recent years.Economic transformation is imminent.Qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, theory and researchmethods are adopted in this article. By analying the output value structure,employment structure, comparing labor productivity, industrial spatialstructure, and the development of industrial enterprisesv of three-industry,totally summarize some primary problems such as the imbalance of industrialstructure, spatial layout scattered, low-tech traditional industries occuppyingthe dominant position. Those problems cause abnormal development of theeconomy, a single product variety, serious environmental pollution,surface-prone and other issues. Then how to choose the subsitituent leadingindustries becomes very necessary. By adopting factor analysis method of theeight indicators of19industries, calculate the composite score and ranking,and take instrumentation manufacturing, transportation equipment manufacturing, machinery industry as the leading industry factor. Finally, thelast two chapters mainly conduct SWOT analysis on the future developmentof the substituent leading industries, and developed the industrial planning,the establishment of technology support system and regional innovationsystem suggestions.
