The statistical work of the port companies shoulders the task of helping port enterprise to make decisions, plays a key role in enhancing the quality of decision-making. Improving the production efficiency, have great significance for the promotion of national economic development. Through practical research and projects knowledge, the statistical work of port there are still many problems, in the background of information age, in order to solve the existing problems in the statistical work. To optimize the statistical work, this article solves the problem by optimizing the port statistical information system.The Internet of Things is an important part of the new generation of IT, along with the popularity of the Internet of Things concept and related technologies become more sophisticated, the Internet of Things will become more widely known. The emergence of the Internet of Things provides new methods for optimizing the system of port statistics, at the same time; the internet of things is the new entry point to promote the statistical work of Port in the future. In this context, this article applies the Internet of Things technology to the port statistical system building to solve the existing problems in the statistical work of port effectively.This paper first introduces the research background、purposes、methods of the real-time statistical of the production of port system based on Internet of Things, describes the related theory and application status of the Internet of Things. Then combined with practical project knowledge, analyze and summarize the current problems of port statistics work, and determine to optimize the information system of port statistic. After Solution to the problem is identified, according to the needs of real-time data acquisition of the real-time statistical system, on the basis of existing data collection processes, this article optimizes the data acquisition process. On this basis, the real-time statistical of the production of port system based on Internet of Things, has been designed, Build a real-time statistical of the production of port system based on Internet of Things that is suitable for port work.
