Food is the most important material foundation for human survival and development. Food safety is related to everyone's health and future. In recent years, domestic and foreign malignant food safety events, including aftosa, mad cow disease, Sudan red, bird flu, melamine, trench oil, plasticizer etc. It becomes a serious threat and harm to human being's health and life, which attracts more attention from the governments, enterprises and people for the food safety. The establishment of a food safety control and traceability system, along with formulating relevant laws and regulations, standards and control measures, is the key to solve this problem.Emerging logistics information technology is the comprehensive application of the modern information technology in logistics. Currently, the most popular and fastest growing field is "internet of things" technologies. Based on Internet/networking technology, EAN · UCC coding technology, radio frequency identification technology(RFID), computer network technology and modern logistic theory, this thesis designs a set of enterprise internal traceability system for food safety, which ensures the entire planting, processing and packaging, storage, transportation, sale and consumption process can be monitored, and improves the efficiency of the circulation. Once food safety problem occur, it can trace back to the very begin. As a result, the supply chain becomes more transparent and efficient by reducing manual entry errors, making the recall system more useful and becoming prompt response. Meanwhile, it also sets up the brand value, brings more profit to enterprises. Last but not the least, the system makes ordinary consumers, to establish the confidence for food safety, and be away from the poisonous and harmful food, and thus to avoid the damage to human beings.
