| The embedded software industry has become one of the significant industries in China. And with the development of Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, embedded software, which combines the software and hardware, can play an important role in the development of next-generation technologies. Embedded system and its software mainly cover embedded microprocessor embedded operating systems﹑support software and application software. As one of the major high-tech zones in China, Xian High-tech Zone has achieved rapid development in software industry. The revenues and exports growth rate of software industry has been over30%for many years and the embedded software industry and systems integration accounted for60%of it. In the comparison with other High-tech Zones, Xi’an needs to change the mode of development, to improve industrial technology, to promote industrial upgrading and to enhance the competitive advantage.First, by analyzing the current situation of China’s embedded software industry and building the embedded software industry chain, the paper analyzes the industries and major enterprises in the chain. Also, the paper analyzes the development status`the existing problems and development trends of the embedded software industry in Xi’an High-tech Zone. Second, on the basis of Porter’s diamond model, the paper builds the Xi’an High-tech Zone embedded software industry competitiveness evaluation index system, which including three levels, and uses the AHP to determine the weight of each indicator.Then, based on the index system, the paper analyzes the production factors, demand conditions, related and supporting industries of Zhongguancun National Innovation Demonstration Zone, Shenzhen High-tech Zone and Xi’an High-tech Zone in order to analyze the competitive advantage of the Xi’an High-tech Zone. Finally, according to the analysis of the competitive advantage and the correlation diagram of the embedded software industry, the paper presents suggestions and countermeasures as optimize and coordinate the allocation of production factors and promote the formation of industrial clusters. |
