Reseacrch On Farmers’ Participation In New Ruralinsurance In Rural Areas Of Guangxi Province

With the pilot job of the New Rural Insurance in new pattern carrying out,Guangxi has achieved certain process, and the pilot areas have been expended andcovered the whole region. In our country with large farmer population, thepromotion of New Rural Endowment Insurance is of great significance toguarantee the life quality in famers’ later years and to enhance equal access topublic service. As the New Rural Endowment Insurance is beneficial to citizens,substantial support in finance has been given. At the beginning, it received warmwelcome from the farmers. However, with the pilot work going on, it also hasbeen exposing some issues in the process of its participation.This paper reviews the development process of Rural Endowment Insurancein the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region explains the advantages of the newone through the comparison with the former ones, examine the current situation ofRural Endowment Insurance in this region, and finally analyze the feasibility andnecessity of its participation in this region. By the means of literature collection,data analysis and selection, comparative study and so forth, this paper is intendedto discuss the issues and their reasons of the participation in insurance in theprocess of the promotion of this New Rural Endowment Insurance and proposesthe corresponding measures effectively.
