Under the fierce market competition both in China and abroad and the ever-changing trend of the industry, Beihai Hermez Valve CO.LTD, as a valve enterprise which just started business, is facing some problems such as how to improve management strategies, reinforce its economic strength, and enhance the competiveness in the domestic and foreign market.To realize the strategic objective of sustainable development, this thesis uses the quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze the internal and external operating environment of Beihai Hermez Valve CO.LTD based on a comprehensive review of some relative strategic management theories. Besides, the thesis aims to seek for suitable development strategies for the enterprise and means of implementation on the basis of it.This thesis is composed of four parts:In the first part of the thesis,With PEST analysis method, the thesis analyzes the external environment of Beihai Hermez Valve CO.LTD. It states that the valve industry is now facing new opportunities and challenges. Only when we sieve the opportunities and challenges and launch production and operating activities can we get a breakthrough and development on the business.The second part analyzes the external environment of Beihai Hermez Valve CO.LTD from three aspects, the macro-economic environment, profession environment and market environment, and finds out the opportunities and the threats which the company is facing nowadays. Furthermore, it finds out the opportunities of the company outweigh the threats by using EFE Matrix analysis, which means we can utilize the opportunities to minimize the unfavorable factors of the external threats. Besides, the thesis see from the resources and force at the core aspects, analyzes the internal environment of the company, and finds out the company’s advantages and disadvantages. Combining with the IFE Matrix analysis, it concludes that compared with the advantages of the company, the disadvantages are more obvious, therefore defining the reverse strategy of the company by using SWOT analysis.Finally, in the last part, the thesis confirms the missions, objectives, selections and plans and draw up the development strategy of the company based on the reverse strategy. It also analyzes the company’s implementation strategy and supportive measures.According to the analysis and diagnosis of internal and external environment of Beihai Hermez Valve CO.LTD, this thesis made clear the necessity and importance of the implementation of reverse strategy transformation. And the operation mode and strategic management measures has the important practical significance for Beihai Hermez Valve CO.LTD to grasp the development trend of future development independently, improve the competitiveness of enterprises.
