The Logistics Mode Research Of Bulk Grain Import

After joining the WTO, in accordance with the rules of free trading our country opening up the grain market year after year. Large quantities of Bulk grain imports have been developed, in 2007 we imported soybeans 30.82 million tons, together with barley, wheat, Rice imports, logistics volume estimated to be around 40 million tons. Our grain and oil companies are using self-way logistics. In this existence logistics mode, procurement costs higher,transportion costs can not be guaranted, the land allocated is not timely and costs higher. The traditional transport bulk grain imports, based on ocean carrier as the center,is responsible only for port-to-port transportation, do not care about the various segments before and after. In the course of the flow of cargos,such as declarations, post-mortem, storage, cargo transfer, and other areas, waste a lot of time, energy and money. Therefore, bulk grain imports logistics have high research value.This thesis first analyzed China's existing mode of bulk grain imports,pointed out the existing problems in China's existing mode bulk grain imports. Then analyzed the import bulk grain logistics system, bring forward the port bulk grain logistics centre mode. Analyzed all aspects of the bulk grain logistics system imports in the new mode, contained functions,size,mode of operation of port logistics centre,proposed the third party logistics to integrate the import bulk grain supply chain of ordering, transportion, inventory issues. Then established a model of the minimum total cost target for the optimal ordering, transportion, warehousing, distribution,and gave an example. According to the actual situation simulate the various parameters of the model , and used lingo to solve this linear model, and qualitatively analyzed the results to develop the optimal procurement, transportation, distribution strategy. On this basis, gave some sugestion to develop the port's bulk grain logistics centre model,have a certain theoretical value and practical significance on the development of China's grain logistics.
