Research Of Bulk Grain Logistics System In Hunan Grain Group

In recent years, under the support of government, the related policies of food logistics development have been promulgated with the rapid development of grain logistics. In domestics, bulk grain transport and automatic handling of modern circulation method have been instead of the traditional grain bagging transport and manual handling method. With the national grain storage capacity have increased, the system of modern grain storage has been basically in place, especially the initial framework of modern grain logistics has been formed in the northeast of China, at the meantime, "Four Bulks" logistic technology have expanded dramatically. In that context, the most important things and critical steps of Hunan grain group is depending on how opportunities are seized. The article focuses on the Hunan grain group and studies the development trend of grain logistics, therefore, planning scheme research of logistics service in grain system has practical significance.This article first describes the development trend and current situation of grain logistics in the both domestic and overseas, to which learn the development history of grain logistics of the major developed countries, and also to find the existing problems in the development of domestic grain logistics system as well. Meanwhile, the article identifies the "Four Bulks" is the inevitable trend of grain logistics development, and it provides the reality basis for logistics system of Hunan grain group. Second, SWOT analysis is applied to investigate the internal strengths and weaknesses and external opportunities and threats. Last but not least, the development framework of Hunan grain group will be determined by the SWOT analysis of its bulk grain logistics system.The analysis shows that there are still many opportunities to go alongside the challenges within the Hunan grain group. With the support of the governance policy, thus the grain logistics will develop quickly in the future. However, with the rapid development of logistics information technology and application, it put forward more requirements on Hunan grain group.By making use of SWOT analysis demonstrates that there are some problem exists in the development of bulk grain logistics system of Hunan grain group, such as:inefficient technology of grain logistics technology, low personnel quality, imbalanced logistics infrastructure and higher logistics cost.In conclude, this article suggests that, for further improvement of the bulk grain logistics system, Hunan grain group should focus on improving the logistics management and experiential model, establishing a warehousing network, strengthening infrastructure construction of grain logistics, optimizing the transport channel, getting through the channel from North grain to the south and promoting the application of grain logistics of information technology.
