As a key approach to optimized corporate management, management consulting has been widely recognized throughout the world. For example, the implementation of management consulting gave the drive to the optimized operation management in70%and50%of all industries in the United States and Japan respectively in the seventies of the last century. The management consulting industry in China, though initiated late in the eighties, has received wider concern and developed into a sunrise industry with promising future and potent potential in attracting more investment. However, there has still been a fairly wide gap between Chinese consulting agencies and the international ones, which mainly lies in the cultivating of core competitiveness for enterprises. Core competitiveness, a result of corporate human resources, is indispensable to any enterprises, especially to consulting enterprises, which are suffering a lot in their development from inadequate human resources management. Therefore, it is of great significance for the development of consulting enterprises to formulate corresponding solutions via a research on the problems existing in the construction and management of human resources in consulting enterprises.This thesis, based on an overview of the status of human resource management in consulting enterprises in China and the surveys on the status of HR management of T Company via both questionnaires and interviews, aims to define the problems concerning corporate HR management via the methodology of empirical analysis and, with a full consideration of the problems concerning human resources management of T Company, the practice in the field and related theories, formulate corresponding solutions to the problems so as to boost the core competitiveness of T Company with maximally strengthened capacity in establishing and maintaining a powerful team.
