With the gradual development of market economy system and newtechnology, Enterprises pay more attention to the intellectual andknowledge capital, the management consulting industry, as an emergingindustry and intelligence services industry, develops rapidly, and in thecourse of the world economy and the national economy it plays anincreasingly important role. The management consulting industry in theworld has more than one hundred years of history, but in China thedevelopment is just a few decades. Although at present the managementconsulting demand from each industry of our country grows rapidly, butthe consulting industry in China is still an emerging industry, has not beenset up more mature industry operating mechanism, at the same time ourmanagement consulting enterprises still face up with the uneven internalmanagement level. In order to obtain the survival and growth, they mustcultivate, improve and maintain its competitiveness, and so which factorsaffect management consulting enterprises’ competitiveness? Whichevaluation index to evaluate it? How to evaluate it? These become theimportant issues for scholars to explore and study.Building a complete set of competitive evaluation system not onlycan help to analyze the current competitive pressures, but also helps firmsto analyze corporate resources and capabilities to discover, nurture andmaintain the competitiveness of enterprises. With unique personality andcharacteristics of the management consulting enterprise, scholars can notapply the enterprise competitiveness evaluation index and system ofgeneral industry on management consulting enterprise, so that the currentcompetitiveness of the management consulting enterprise is still in itsinfancy, which can’t form a unified, authoritative evaluation system.In this paper, based on the review of the theory about the competitiveness evaluation of enterprises, combined characteristic andcompetitiveness factors, the paper analyzes, combines and preliminaryrefines management consulting enterprise competitive impact factorsfrom scholars in China two decades, and uses the KJ method to refine andsummary40indicators of management consulting enterprisecompetitiveness, then uses Expert Comment to identify24key indicators,and uses Factor Analysis to extract the common factors and rename them,which can form evaluation index system. Then uses AHP to determine thecompetitiveness evaluation index weight, and selects the fuzzycomprehensive evaluation to evaluate the competitiveness of managementconsulting enterprise. Finally the paper uses an actual case to doempirical analysis and validation, combines with practical experience andgood practices from domestic and international companies, and proposescountermeasures and suggestions to further improve competitiveness.
