Along with theurbanization rate has increased and people’s living standards improve, also makes the demand of real estateshowing a trend of rapid growth during the transition development of Shanxi Province. The imbalance of supplyand demand results in price‘s unreasonable rising. China has developed a series of control measures to regulateprice, and Shanxi province also formulate the objectives, policies in the process of transition developing. Like theincreasing construction of affordable housing, improving the tax policy, differentiating mortgage policy, and so on.But the real estate agents tend to develop high-density construction in order to pursue more interests. And itmakes the population density, building density and volume fraction is too high. It has accelerated thedeterioration of the urban environment, thus results in the unbanlanced relationship between economicdevelopment and environmental resources. The living environment is facing heavy pressure.Based on the current situation, this article uses the ideas and theories of sustainable development to study thetheory and practice of the sustainable development of the real estate. Using the method of quantitative analysis, toestablish a evaluation system of the sustainable development of the real estate industry about the economicefficiency, resource utilization, environmental impact and social population. Evaluate the sustainable developmentof the real estate industry during transition development of Shanxi Province by using the active function andcoordination of evaluation model. And propose specific improvements of the sustainable development of the realestate industry in Shanxi Province. The value of research is important to promote the real estate industry of ShanxiProvince to take the road of sustainable development and promote the transition development of Shanxi Province.
