Study On Coordinated Development Of Economic Improvement And Urban Residents’Life Quality

Every period has its own keywords, some keywords will be naturally emerge to the public, and some keywords are often concealed by the society and market, it need to look for the keyword from a series of social phenomena and thought. For a long time before, the period of keyword is’economic growth’ In most countries and regions, the GDP as a measure of social prosperity and progress indicators has been adopted widely. There are a set of values behind the measure indicators, when the GDP has been emphasized excessively, it seems to lead to imbalances in the development process. With economic development and society progress, nowadays, more and more people believe that’National Happiness’has become the keyword, and the growth of wealth is just a performance of social improvement, the ultimate goal of social development should be people’s happiness, we should pursue the harmonious development of economic development and residents’life quality.This paper selects Changsha City as study area, and qualitatively analyzes the status of Changsha’s economic development and urban residents’life quality. Learning from the existing research results of domestic and foreign, respectively building two sets of index system---the level of economic development and the quality of residents’life; processing the data by principal component analysis; through building the evaluation model to coordinated development of economic development and residents’life quality, it can reach the result of Changsha2002-2009coordination type and sub-type; taking a questionnaire to grasp the subjective satisfaction of living, which can combine them together; then, according to the evaluation results, I analyze the reasons of coordinated problem, and provided the ways to coordinated development, then the conclusions offer some supportive ideas for decision-making process to make two important factor economic development and residents’life quality of Changsha coordinated.The main conclusions in this paper are:in coordination type respect, in2002, the degree of economic development and residents’life quality of Changsha belong to primary coordination, from2003to2008, the degree belongs to mid-level coordination, in2009, the degree belongs to high-related coordination; in coordination sub-type respect, in addition to2006,2007and2009, Changsha belongs to economic development lags behind in other years; in questionnaire respect, the residents of Changsha have a higher overall satisfaction in their living environment, they have a low satisfaction in their working conditions and health status, especially mental health status, and also increased the demands on public services.
