A Study On The Coordination Between Location Advantage And Economic Development Level Of Counties In Gansu Province

Location usually refers to a particular place that things occupied,it reflects its own location,layout,distribution and its relationship with the surrounding area.Geographic location advantage refers to the superior conditions for carrying out a certain type of production,the development of a certain type of industry and engaging some economical activities within a certain geographical area.It is an important indicator reflect the development status and potential of the regional and society.It has a great influence for evaluating the present situation of the specific region and locating orientation of development trends.Through the functional positioning of the researching area and the development planning of various functional types,it will further provide scientific basis for regional economic construction and environmental management,and ultimately achieve sustainable development within the region.However,the position of regional functions,the division of types,and the formulation of its development plans necessarily require to evaluate and analysis the development status and potential of this area.Therefore,regional dominance as a quantitative indicator for regional advantage research can more accurately reflect the advantages of regional development.Its intrinsic location advantage will support the region's own development capabilities,help promote its economic development,and ultimately achieve coordinated development of the economy and location.The article mainly uses the regional economics,economic geography and other related scientific knowledge as the theoretical guidance,based on GIS technology,principal component analysis method to measure the regional dominance and the economic development level of the county towns in Gansu Province,and divide the type and analysis,through ArcGIS visualization will express the final result.Fully rely on and enhance the existing advantages of location support and integrate into the construction of national strategic channels as soon as possible.Depend on regional advantages and the types of regional economic division,we propose countermeasures and suggestions to promote regional balance and serve regional development,accelerate the development of urban economy,and realize the goal of coordinated development of economy and location,finally make some suggestions for promoting regional balance and serving regional development.The content of the article is mainly composed of three parts: location dominance degree measurement and evaluation,economic development level measurement and evaluation,type division and analysis.The first part is measuring the location dominance.The GIS network analysis,spatial analysis and classification statistics are mainly used,combined with mathematical and comprehensive evaluation models,and learn from the existing research results.Measure and Evaluate the County Comprehensive Regional Advantage of Gansu Province by three evaluation index: the tow aspects of traffic and township,the traffic network density,traffic trunk influence and urban impact degree are established.Finally,it is found that most of the regions in Gansu Province are showing Low regional advantages(accounting for about 70% of the province),in the east,Lanzhou is the main center,the regional advantages of urban comprehensive development in the east-West of Gan Su section gradually extended weakening along the "Silk Road Economic Belt",westward approach Jinbaiyin City,Wuwei City,Jinchang City and Zhangye City extend eastward to Dingxi City,Tianshui City and Pingliang City in the northeast.The west is mainly centered on the Jiujia area,extending eastward to Zhangye,Jinchang and more,and west to Guazhou,and has a tendency to extend to Dunhuang.On the basis of the extension of the corridor,it gradually extends north-south and gradually weakens.The second part is to measure the development level of county economy in Gansu Province.Following the representativeness,comparability,and data availability to select indicators,based on existing research results,selected seven indicators: per capita GDP,per capita local fiscal revenue,per capita social fixed asset investment,per capita retail sales of consumer goods,and urban disposable income,farmer's net income,and non-agricultural output value.Mainly used the principal component analysis method and SPSS method to evaluate the economic development level of each town comprehensively.The economic development level of most areas is at an economically backward level.The overall performance is high in the west and low in the east: the economic development level in the Jiujia region is relatively high,but some regions have special characteristics.The central corridor region and the northeastern economy is at a medium level,and the south of Lanzhou region.the economic development level of the south of Lanzhou region is relatively backward.In the third part,a C-D function is established based on the capacity coupling model through the analysis of the coordination between the location superiority and the level of economic development in cities.The results show that the degree of regional advantage degree and economic development level are relatively high in most of the province,and the mutual influence degree is larger,and the two have obvious coupling relationship.But the coordination is generally in the middle level,and the high coordination area is relatively less.The high coordination area is mainly concentrated in the central and western parts of the Gansu pronvince,and the east of Lanzhou,Dingxi,Tianshui and Pingliang.The serious maladjustment area is mainly located in the southern part of Gansu Province,Longnan,the surrounding counties of Hezuo,Sunan,Minqin,Tongwei,Weiyuan and so on.
