Study On Appropriate Scale Of Agriculture Land Management

With China’s rapid economic development, and the advance of urbanization, industrialization, the construction of new socialist rural area has entered a new historical period, our country agricultural has entered a period of transition from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture. The appropriate scale of farmland management is an important part of the new rural area construction and agricultural modernization, and it is also the key to solve "three rural issues"The analyzing guided by the spirit of model of appropriate scale of agriculture land management to the Central Party Committee, based on the theory of economies of scale and agricultural production functions, to work with appropriate scale of agriculture land management. This paper has made a systematical research and generalization of the conditions and effect factors of the theory of economies of scale. On the basis of drawing lessons from domestic and international relevant research results, analyzed the connotation, the necessity, the premise condition and influence factors of appropriate scale of agriculture land management.This paper took Jiang-xia district of Wuhan City for sample area, and adopted a method of theoretical research combining with empirical analysis to make quantitative analysis by the basis of qualitative analysis. The land, investment and revenue of local farmer were investigated by using the way of practical research, then builded up econometric model by maximum profit of agriculture as the objective. Through the related math analyzed the relationship between output and inputs of the agricultural production factors (land, fund, technology and labor, etc.) in a certain range, got the expression of cultivated land scale while agricultural profit reached the maximum. The result of measure showed that the modest scale of operation of the sample areas was3.660hm2. The paper also pointed out the problem of Jiang-xia region agricultural land in the appropriate scale of management.Finally put forward some countermeasures and suggestions of the development of appropriate scale of agriculture land management on Jiang-xia district as follows:1. To accelerate the transfer of rural surplus labors of Jiang-xia district.2. To establish a sound transfer policies of agricultural land to promote the circulation and concentration of land.3. To improve the system of rural social security.4. The government should take the appropriate measures to guide peasants to develop moderate scale operation, in order to improve the efficiency of agricultural production, increase farmers income, and speed up the construction of new countryside. The research provided theory reference and practice enlightenment for promoting and developing scale of agriculture land management.
