Along with the development of the virtual tourism, its impact to reality tourism is also gradually emerging. At present, domestic research on the relationship between virtual and reality tourism and the impact of virtual tourism hasn’t reached on the general consensus. Most of the research has focused on the technology realization of virtual tourism. Travel experience as a hardcore of the tourism world, in recent years has been great concerned for researchers, tourists and tourism enterprise.Based on the above two points, the article will introduce the concept of tourism experience to the study of the virtual tourism. On the basis of previous studies, the article will define the concept of virtual tourism, virtual tourism destination, and tourism experience, compare the approach of the virtual and reality tourism experience by using the literature analysis, questionnaire survey, content analysis, comparative analysis. The article found that the approach of virtual and reality tourism experience, they have a certain degree of difference, but they are also closely related. Tourists get different experience from virtual and reality tourism, but those two experience influence each other.Instead of a substitutable relationship, virtual and reality tourism experience will complement and promote each other. The article believes that the virtual and reality tourism should establish an mechanism following the principle of integrity, linkage and tight, and established an initial virtual and reality tourism interaction mechanism based on the travel experience approach, further explore the interaction mechanism on sightseeing, communication, imitation, games, information, tourists. This mechanism combined the virtual tourism, reality tourism, tourists closely together, pointed out the direction for the development of virtual tourism, and would contribute to promote the common development of virtual and real travel.
