Along with the rapid development of information technologies in new era,competition among enterprises eventually embodied in the competition for talent,recruitment management as a solid foundation of human resources in the enterpriseplays the critical role to select right person. Interview is a good platform to make surethe high match between position requirement and the individual, which as the importantpart of the whole recruitment process, it helps the interviewer catch more truly infoabout the candidate include work experience, knowledge skills as well as personality,personal value and other recessive factors to identify the desired talent. The resultscould be more perfect if the philosophy is based on the competency model, which canonly enhance the effectiveness of the whole recruitment process, but also reduce thewaste on timing and cost, it could to say, the interview system establish and applicationbased on competence model plays a very positive and important role to improve thecore competitiveness of enterprises.This article state some theory about competency, the comparison between thephilosophy of competency model using in recruitment and traditional recruitmentmethod, highlight the advantage of competency at first. Secondly, take T Company asthe sample to point out the common issues facing talent recruitment by deeply analysis.Thirdly, describe the initiation in T Company on competency model setup, and roll itinto recruitment system, give the summary and assessment on the implementation andefforts, very positive results to reduce the attrition rate for new hire people, increase theprobation pass rate, improve the company brand and get saving on hiring&communication cost spending. At the end, using a specific manager position to show abig picture to demonstrate how the competence model contributes for hiring systemefficiency, as well as comments on the shortage and suggestions for future continuesimprovement.
