This articleattempts by Kunming of cultivated land intensive use of empirical analysis, theresults of the analysis put forward reasonable suggestions and countermeasures ofintensive land use in Kunming, Kunming arable land resource utilization policy toprovide a litter reference materials.This article is divided into two parts, one part is theoretical study on intensiveutilization of cultivated land, and the other part is the empirical study of Kunming city.The theory research is mainly using the method of literature, on the basis of readingrelevant literature, in-depth understanding of cultivated land intensive utilization andcultivated land intensive use of relevant theories, the concept, connotation and formscientific and reasonable definition, the introduction of the hierarchy to buildfarmland The intensive use of the three system of evaluation. The empirical analysisbased on Kunming, the entropy method in the evaluation index system has beenconstructed on the basis of indicators empowered to select the multi-objectivecomprehensive evaluation model arable land intensive level of Kunming. After theanalysis of the evaluation results, there give the advance to promote intensive use inKunming.Analysis and evaluation results shows:(1) In the region of space, the intensive uselevels of Kunming have differentiation features, Kunming, intensive land use level ofan impact evaluation indicators: input intensity> continued status> output effect> usethe degree, the greatest impact on the level of intensive use is the input intensity ofarable land, followed by the continued status of the arable land, the impact ofdifferent intensive use of the regional level factors.(2) Based on evaluation results and logical principles, intensive use of Kunming can be divided into four levels: firstlevel including Guandu, Chenggong, Shilin, Yiliang and Wuhua; the second levelincluding Panlong, Jinning, Songming and Fumin; the third level including threecounties Xishan,Luquan and Anning; and the last level including Xundian andDongchuan;(3) In Kunming, thehe intensive use influential factors are quite differentfor different regions, combined with the actual local conditions, to take reasonableand effective measures to improve the level of local intensive use.(4) On the whole,the intensive use in Kunming have a lot of rooms for growth. in future, Kunmingwould based on keeping the sustainable use of cultivated land, increase the cultivatedland investment, increase the production of cultivated land, and increase the intensiveuse of cultivated land.Kunming is a western city what has some features, such as farming characteristics,climate, geological and geomorphologic features, and its intensive use also havecharacteristics. Now, intensive use evaluation study of west city is few, this paperplay a certain in the field. But the terrain, climate and hydrological condition ofKunming are quite complex, in the process of empirical research, for the collecteddata limitations, in future there still has to be further perfected in the study of indexchoice.
