Construction land is a kind of important land resources, the efficiency of its utilization have a great influence on social development. With the accelerated process of industrialization and urbanization, scale of regional construction land is increasing in many region. Contradiction of construction land between supply and demand increasingly intensified.lt will be helpful to understand the situation of regional construction land intensive utilization by means of intensive use of land evaluation. And then, some measures will be put forward topromote construction land intensive use level.Study area of article are counties (cities, districts) in Kunming, according to basic data of land use,we could do analysis on construction land use situation of Kunming, in addition, influence factor of regional construction land intensive use level can be deduced from the macro level.On this basis, combined with relevant research results of evaluation, index system of evaluation of regional construction land intensive utilization can be constructed from four aspects which are using strength, land consumption for social development, elastic of land use and comparison of contribution. By method which is integration of qualitative and quantitative, construction land intensive use level of each counties (cities, districts) in Kunming can be researched,finally obtains following results:(1) Construction land utilization.②There is an obvious regional difference on construction land scale of each county (city, district) in Kunming, most construction sites are located in the main city area; Analyzing from agglomeration degree of spatial distribution of construction land, Calculation results of location entropy show that there is also an obvious regional difference on scattered degree of construction land distribution of each study area in Kunming. ③The variation trend of construction land scale from 2010 to 2014 shows that growth rate of construction land have a huge wave between different years, but overall, about the trend of construction land that presents year after year to increase by degrees.(2) Qualitative analysis results. ①Analysis on the matching degree between population development and the change of regional construction land scale showed that while the construction land intensive use level of most regions in Kunming have a steady improvement trend, intensive use level of Panlong district, Guandu district and Wuhua District have declined from 2010 to 2014; ②nalysis on the matching degree between economic development and the change of regional construction land scale showed that with the land use trend type of Wuhua district, Xishan district and Panlong district changing from inefficient expansion to intensive expansion, the type of other areashave no change,but relative index value of most region have improved.(3) Quantitative evaluation results. There is an obvious regional difference on various index values between each county (city, district)in 2010 and 2014.The using strength index value, increasing land consumption index value and comparison of contribution index value of most regions have risen from 2010 to 2014. The elastic of land use index value of half area in Kunming have declined. In addition to Guandu district, Chenggong district, Jinning county and Anning have declined,the value of intensive use of construction land comprehensive evaluation of other areas in Kunming presents an increasing trend, it can be explained thatconstruction land intensive use level of integration have improved.
