The Differentiation Research On The Distribution Of Hunan Foreign Direct Investment

After reforming and opening, foreign direct investment plays an important role in economic growth in Hunan province. However, foreign direct investment in the cities of Hunan Province distribution is extremely uneven, the largest share of the eastern region, central Secondly, the Western region to attract foreign direct investment in the least. What arethe reasons for this phenomenon, how to promote the region to attract more foreign direct investment, are all issues to be addressed in this article.This article first development of the theory of foreign direct investment and foreign direct investment in the region choose to sum up, and as this paper, the theoretical basis for further analysis. Then the scale from the total amount of foreign direct investment, sources, industry and industrial distribution, investment and regional distribution point of a detailed analysis of foreign direct investment in Hunan Province and the current characteristics of the development process. Then measured the regional distribution of foreign direct investment in Hunan Province between index and the overall foreign direct investment in inter-city difference analysis, found that the distribution of foreign direct investment in Hunan, a high degree of regional differences.Secondly, through the influence of foreign direct investment factors and with foreign investment in the actual situation in Hunan province, select the GDP, spending on technology, dependence on foreign trade, post and telecommunications business volume last year, foreign direct investment inflows as a variable to establish econometric model, and cities by2001-2009of the panel data linear regression, found that GDP, post and telecommunications business volume, the previous year and foreign direct investment inflows of foreign direct investment is related to Hunan Province, Technology spending, dependence on foreign trade and foreign direct investment was negative. Finally, qualitative and quantitative research is proposed based on optimization of foreign direct investment in Hunan Province’s policy recommendations.
