The Research On The Non-Agricultural Employment Tendency Of Rural Labor Force In Guangxi

Employment is the core of people’s livelihood, our national rural non-agricultural employment situation directly affects the overall situation of Chinese employment, and also influences our country modernization and social coordinated economy development. The farmers’ non-agricultural employment choice behavior and the employment ability&quality directly affects the peasants income level, and it also has a close link to narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas and to promote the rural economy development. Therefore, to systematically study the non-agricultural employment of rural labor and employment behavior tendency is very important.In order to analyze the present situation and the problem of non-agricultural employment of rural labor behavior, this study apply questionnaire investigation, interview survey, literature analysis method and empirical research method to process the collected data. We conduct random questionnaire investigations and individual interviews in three administrative district of Guangxi-Nanning, Baise and Liuzhou, and process the research data by using the Logistic regression, and to analyze the influence of the individual characteristics, employment conception, human capital and social employment environment for the non-agricultural employment of rural labor force choice behavior on the basis of detailed analysis of the status quo of rural labor force. The model regression results show that the risk preference, income, employment opportunity recognition ability, education level, job skill and career development view have a positive relationship to the non-agricultural employment tendency of rural labor force, and put forward the countermeasures to improve the non-employment ability and quality of Guangxi rural labor force.
