Regional distribution and logistics, cash flow, information flow and increase frequently. In this tendency, the regional logistics is becoming an important part of modern logistics industry and win the entire world’s attention.Since China’s accession to the WTO, modern logistics industry plays an important role in China’s economic development, speed up the development of modern logistics, is a urgent need to adapte to the economic globalization and regional economic integration. Especially in Dongguan, which is called "The world’s manufacturing factory", the development of the logistics industry determine the sustainable development of dongguan’s further economy. At the same time, Dongguan is playing an important role in the area of international trade. When facing the global international market, accelerate Dongguan’s logistics industry development, improve the quality and efficiency of economy, optimize the allocation of resources is of strategic significance to Dongguan.But all in all, The Dongguan and the whole of China’s logistics industry all started later than foreign countries, most are in the stage of exploration, and lack of mature theoretical support and scientific management concept. In this article we first expounds the current situation of the development of the logistics industry, then analyze the economic development of Dongguan, select regional logistics demand indicators to analyze the index elaborating. We adopt Grey prediction model to forecast the throughput of Humen port, use the best combination forecast model to forecast the Dongguan’s freight traffic volume. We will present a SWOT analyze report according to the forecast analysis and the Dongguan economy development present situation. At last we will put forward development countermeasures according to the results of above analysis.
