Construction Of Alternative Fuel Evaluation System And Strategy Development Research

Recent years, the development of china’s economic has beenseriously restricted by the depletion of energy resources. Energy securityand energy sustainable development have become the major issuesrelated to people’s livelihood, especially our oil dependence on foreigncountry has reached55%in2010, far beyond50%of the internationalwarning line, our oil security situation is very grim. As a vehicle fuel, thesubstitution of oil is a better solution and more urgent than thesubstitution of whole energy in facing short-term national energy crisis.In this paper, by the compare of petroleum products and alternativeenergy products, as one of alternative energy, we find out methanol hasbeen proved very excellently by theory and practice. However, justbecause compared with the traditional evaluation system, the evaluationsystem is still not perfect and comparability is not strong, government andindustry still haven’t formed large-scale alternative in such mature basis,the effective means of settlement still can’t be implemented. On the basisof our national energy security and national energy sustainabledevelopment, Considered of the effect on economics，environment，technology，society and security, we built comprehensive evaluationsystem of alternative fuel, we can finalize all levels of index weights byusing the Analytic Hierarchy Process and Delphi, by the modelcalculation we can compare the main alternative fuels and find out theeffect of methanol is much better than the others. It is our responsibilityto let people know the importance and feasibility of the substitution ofour country’s energy security in the short-term. We tried to analyze problems in the development of methanol alternative industry to promotethe industry’s healthy development.
