Based On The Ecological Footprint Of Tourism Sustainable Development Research

Due to promote local economic development, tourism is rapidly becoming a scale of one of the largest and fastest growing industries. As the human’s expansion of the size of the tourism activities, however, the development of tourism has brought a series of negative effects.This paper adopts the present international comparison advanced evaluation methods of sustainable development─he method of ecological footprint. Also we combine tourism ecological footprint model and improve this model to evaluate the tourism of Xingyi City of Guizhou Province.This article altogether is divided five chapters to carry on the elaboration. The first chapter is introduction. It obtains from the research background and the significance, summarizes the domestic and foreign research progress, and then proposes the research content and methods. The second chapter is the theoretics. Based on the elaboration of ecological footprint, this part makes the key elaboration to the correlation theory of the analytic method of the touristic ecological footprint. The third chapter is empirical research, taking Xingyi City as an example, calculates the touristic ecological footprint in2006-2010, and calculates Xingyi resident ecological footprint and ecological carrying capacity. The fourth chapter evaluate the sustainable development of tourism. The fifth chapter is conclusion and suggestions. It summarizes the conclusion, and put forward specific proposals.Through the research, it can draw following several conclusions:l.In2010, the tourism of Xingyi is in the state of unsustainable development.2.From the touristic ecological footprint’s structure, the transportation and shopping takes the mainstay.3.There is a phenomenon of structural malposition between touristic ecological capacity and ecological footprint.4. The factors that affect the touristic ecological footprint include travel distance, traveling flows, the productivity of ecological productive area, consumption structure of tourist diet, the scale of lodging facility.
