Tourism In Shanxi Province Correlation Analysis Based On The Input And Output Method

The pillar industries in Shanxi Province, coal mining, coking and power arecoal-based. Considered from the perspective of sustainable economicdevelopment, industrial restructuring is inevitable. Shanxi Province is rich intourism resources, the Shanxi provincial government has long been thedevelopment of tourism as a key content, after decades of development oftourism in Shanxi Province, has begun to take the scale of development, withcertain achievements.At present, few studies analyze the relationship of tourism and otherindustries in Shanxi Province from the perspective of industrial. To thedevelopment of tourism as a new pillar industry, we must increase investment intourism-related industries. Therefore, the relevance of the study of tourism hasmore practical significance. This paper use of the SCP analysis of status quo ofthe Shanxi provincial tourism based on tourism statistics, use the theory ofinput-output analysis of relevance of the tourism industry in Shanxi Provincebased on the2002and2007Input-output table in Shanxi Province. The analysisresults show that Shanxi Province tourism exist some problems, such as thetravel agency market concentration is not high, development of tourismresources are inadequate, insufficient innovation capacity of tourism enterprisesin the tourism product, marketing, management, service, tourist satisfactionlevel is not higher and so on. Based on the2007Input-output table, the top threeof Shanxi Province tourism total consumption coefficient are tourism,transportation and warehousing, accommodation and catering industry; the topthree of the partition coefficient are tourism, culture and sports andentertainment, coal mining and washing industry; Shanxi Province tourisminfluence coefficient is0.88.The innovation of this paper is using the modified SCP analysis frameworkto analyze the status quo of the tourism industry in Shanxi Province. Applicationof input-output method, classification and comparison of data obtained through the2002and2007input-output table, quantitative analysis of the relevance ofShanxi Province tourism and other industries. Based on these analyzes, thedevelopment of the tourism industry in Shanxi Province has made somecomments.
