Now, as the new economic growth point, the importance of the tourism industry is increasingly stable, getting the attention of all sectors of society. Since the substance of the tourism products is the real travel experience of tourist in the tourist destination, so the main body of the competition is the tourism destination, the competitiveness of the size determines the development of tourism industry to a certain extent. Therefore, a clear understanding and measure for the competitiveness of tourism destination to enhance the competitiveness and attractiveness of tourism destination, is of great significance to the development of tourism destination.Starting with the concept of tourism destination competitiveness, the paper defines the concept of tourism destination competitiveness. It is the ability that in the market competition, through the optimal allocation of the resources and on the foundation of making effective use of resources, the tourism destination provides satisfactory travel experience for tourists and obtains corresponding interests. Therefore, the input-output efficiency of tourism destination is a realistic characterization of tourism destination competitiveness. From this point, it can clearly evaluate the basic conditions and the ultimate goal of the tourism destination competitiveness. Then drawing on the previous studies and taking16tourism destination in Anhui Province as the research object, the paper has established a input-output efficiency competition evaluation indicator system by modifying the several indicators and combining with the actual situation of Anhui Province. The thesis analyzes the status of competitiveness of each destination. The research is divided into five chapters:The first part is the introduction. It mainly introduces the research background, the research status at home and abroad, the significance, research ideas and methods and innovation point. The second part is the relevant theoretical basis and the definition of the concept. It mainly expounds the basic theory which this paper relies on, such as competitiveness, input-output analysis theory. Secondly, by collating and summarizing the related concept of the tourism destination competence put forward by different scholars, this paper defines tourim destination and tourism destination competitiveness. The third and the fourth part is the analysis of the evaluation of Anhui tourism destination, which is the empirical study. Through the above definition of related concept and related theory, the writer constructs a new evaluation index system of tourism destination competitiveness based on input-output efficiency model. Then, this paper analyses destination competitiveness and the input-output efficiency of16cities by using the method of variation coefficient. The results show that the overall level of competitiveness of Anhui has not yet demonstrated a strong trend, there is a significant difference in each destination. According to the economy of scale, the16tourism destination can be divided into five sets by using the input-output efficiency value. Among them, Chizhou is on the highest competitive level; Fuyang is on the lowest competitive level; Huangshan and Ma Anshan are in the high set with strong competitiveness; the middle competitive level includes Hefei, Wuhu, Huaibei. Bengbu, Suzhou, Xuancheng and Chuzhou; the low competitive level includes Anqing, Huainan, Tongling, Luan and Bozhou. The fifth chapter is the research conclusion, suggestions and outlook. Based on the above analysis, this part firstly summarizes the conclusion of the study in this paper. By finding out the advantages and disadvantages of each destination, the paper brings forward some suggestions for the development of tourism destination in the future. In addition, considering the reflection on the shortcomings of the thesis, some further research aspects are proposed at last.
