Urban and rural labor market segmentation reinforced the dual treatment of urban and rural labor in the employment, resulting in the unreasonable distribution of urban and rural labor in the industries, urban and rural areas, regions, different ownership units and other aspects, together with the differences on the labor force’s skill and quality. Promoting the integration of urban and rural labor market and the optimization of employment structure is not only conducive to resolving the "three rural" problems, but also conducive to breaking the structural bottlenecks of the employment, orchestrating urban and rural labor market. Therefore, the systematic research of integration of urban and rural labor market and the optimization of employment structure, to find the problems and countermeasures, is of important practical significance to the present stability development of economy and society.This paper based on the theory research and present situation research of labor market and employment structure at home and abroad, first, the paper took urban and rural labor force as the research object, analyzed current situation and existing problems of the labor force’s employment under the urban and rural orchestrating background, identified the main constraint factors of the integration of urban and rural labor market through the AHP analysis; second, the paper used the research methods of co-integration analysis and Granger causality analysis, found that the integration of urban and rural labor market has obvious optimization effect on the employment structure; last, we cleared our improvement path and ideas based on the summary of relevant experience abroad, and proposed appropriate countermeasures: innovation of the household registration system, optimization of the social security system, equalization of the educational system, standardization of the employment system, quality-oriented development of industrial policy, equalization of financial distribution system and legalization of market regulatory system, in order to take the systems innovation as the way to promote the structural optimization.
