A Study Of The International Competitiveness Of PV Industry In China Based On Gray Relational Analysis

Under the influence of the global financial crisis, countries around the world strongly recognized the important role of PV industry to maintain growth in the financial crisis and adjust the structure in the photovoltaic industry, which becomes the fastest growing new industries. Development of photovoltaic industry in China is also very rapid, but with the spread of the international financial crisis and international economic crisis intensifies, the drawbacks of the development of PV industry in China also began to appear gradually. In2011, China’s PV industry is facing dramatic upheaval and adjustment, the need to respond to the challenges of intra-industry competition in the domestic and international trade protection. Therefore, we need a correct understanding of the development level of China’s PV industry and a correct evaluate the situation of China’s PV industry international competitiveness to find the law of industrial development in order to adjust the development strategy to achieve the industry better and faster development.The PV industry in China will be placed in this article to study in the freedom of international trade environment. Starting from the characteristics of the photovoltaic industry, evaluate the pros and cons of the international competitiveness of the PV industry in China and to explore in an open economy with foreign effective way to improve the photovoltaic industry. Firstly, analysis the connotation of industrial competitiveness, and theoretical basis of the photovoltaic industry international competitiveness. Characteristics of the photovoltaic industry and learn from others’ research, in-depth analysis of factors affecting international competitiveness of the PV industry, and then design the photovoltaic industry international competitiveness evaluation model of the index system, and on this basis, gray relational analysis method and the coefficient of variation was established by the competitive model of the evaluation of the PV industry. This model, selected seven countries of the world photovoltaic industry development of the most influential empirical study, by comparative analysis of the preliminary draw national competitive position and its competitive advantage, for our development of the photovoltaic industry policy and industry development of enterprises to provide theoretical and practical basis, and finally the problems of our country in the development process in the photovoltaic industry, the competitiveness of China’s PV industry development countermeasures.
