| French agricultural education is an important force to promote the development and modernization of French agriculture. It origins in17th-18th century. Although there are a large number of people with lofty ideals tried their best to promote agricultural education in the initial stage, it developed very slowly, even interrupted, due to the vibrant revolution, frequently changed political situation and volatile social; until the third Republic, French agriculture education is truly on track, and form a complete system.This article selects the period of1750-1848as the study object, elaborated the rising and tortuous development process of agricultural education, and analysed the causes of its rising as well as obstacles encountered in its development process, in order to enable readers to have a better awareness and understanding for French agricultural education of this period. This paper consists of five parts:In the preamble mainly describes the starting point and the theoretical and practical significance of this topic, and introduces with an emphasis on home and abroad research status in recent years, especially France.The first chapter describes the historical background of the appearing of agricultural education and the educational status under the old regime, highlighting the agricultural education theory that emerged during the Enlightenment, including the educational theory of Rousseau, Encyclopedia and Physiocrats.Chapter Ⅱ mainly describes the development process of agricultural education in1750-1848, specifically describes the measures it taken and the results it achieved during each phase, let the readers have a better understanding of it.Chapter Ⅲ mainly analyses the reasons why the agricultural education developed so slowly in this period, including:lack of strong economic support, the limit of traditional concept, volatile environment, the exclusion of religious and moral education.The last chapter of this article is the conclusion, it briefly summarizes the status of agricultural education during this period, and put forward constructive views on the development of our country’s agricultural education, based on the lessons learned from the france. |
