| As a large agricultural country, problems of rural have been the basic problems in China. The issue on the price of agricultural products is not only an issue to be reckoned with in the construction of new countryside, directly relating to the entire development of the rural economy, but also important for building well-off society in an all-around way. At present, it is not the study on logistics cost but on the cost of production tends to be involved a major part in the research field of agricultural price. The theory and practice of rural logistics just have being started and lag behind the other influencing factors in the theory of prices of agricultural products."The third profit source" in agricultural products—rural logistics has become an important constraint for rural development. Poor rural logistics has led to a series of social problems, for example,"unexpensive vegetables hurt farmers" and "expensive vegetables hurt residents "are the existing paradox. Therefore, it is an urgent subject to make research on rural logistics in Chinese characteristics in order to ensure the healthy and harmonious development of China’s rural economy making the prices of agricultural products at a reasonable range.Based on the theory of industrial organization, transaction cost theory, the third-party logistics, this paper pays attention to the impact rural logistics has to the prices of agricultural products combining with the current studies on the prices of agricultural products. Firstly the author points out where the problem lies in the rural logistics by analyzing of the current development and characteristics of rural logistics. Then the author makes the conclusion that rural logistics has become the most important factor affecting the prices of agricultural products through theoretical analysis and empirical test. Finally, the author proposes improvement measures combing the problems in the rural logistics and its impact on agricultural prices transmission mechanism. |
