With the development of knowledge management in China, the most ofenterprises begin to focus on it. There are more and more the human and financialresources to been put into practice.Knowledge sharing plays an important role in the independent innovation and thepromotion of competition ability in enterprises. It is a considerable consensus intheory horizon. But, most of the enterprise are still not a clear understanding how toeffectively promote the knowledge sharing, especially how to make better useincentive mechanism to promote the staff on the knowledge sharing activities. Theresearch on incentive mechanism of knowledge sharing appeared “theory dilemma ".There is a main reason for the problem that the scholars don’t concern to interactioneffect of the several of incentive modes. This paper focuses on three questions based on analyzing the existing literature.Firstly, is there the crowding effect between the extrinsic incentive and the intrinsicincentive? Secondly, which is better for these incentives? Thirdly, what is the functionof the knowledge sharing intentions? This paper examined all the8researchhypotheses through employing the statistical tool SPSS17.0and AMOS17.0, in which216research samples come from enterprises through a questionnaire inquiry. Theconclusion is summed up as follow:(1) Study on the crowding effect. The results show crowding effect extistsbetween incentives, and the effect is mainly for the negative crowding-outeffect.what’more, there are about20%of the individual that the external incentives areunuseless.(2) Study on the incentive effect. We can believe in the intrinsic incentives playgreater role in the knowledge sharing behavior. Knowledge sharing behavior is a classof highly self-determined "the role of external" behavior.(3) Study on the intermediary effect. The results show that the knowledge sharingintentions paly a intermediary variable role in the incentive impact on the knowledgesharing behavior. The conclusions are significant to understand the theoretical argument, as well toguide the management practices in knowledge sharing activities.
