In the knowledge-based economy age, the core objects of human resource management are knowledge workers. How to manage these knowledge workers effectively and encourage them to work in the consistent way of improving the common benefit of all employees, namely how to incent knowledge workers, has become the chief issue of human resource management. At the present time, the incentive research of knowledge workers is mainly qualitative analysis which emphasizes particularly on analyzing the incentive factor and process from the view of behavioral science, and put forward some measures of incentive management, but the relevant research on incentive mechanism design is absent. In this dissertation, based on the behavioral hypothesis of knowledge workers'demand we amend the model of incentive mechanism, and involve the viewpoint of behaviorism scholar into the incentive mechanism model based on asymmetry information game. We study the incentive mechanism of payment, relationship contract, intrinsic factor beyond contract and human capital property right of knowledge workers. The followings are the main contents:In chapter 1, we illuminate the significance from the aspects of market condition, labor property and human capital character in knowledge-based economy age. Then, we review the evolvement and development of incentive theory from the incentive function and mechanism respectively. Lastly, we explain the study thought and method, and summarize the study contents and the constructions of this dissertation.For the knowledge workers, they hope to get a worthy payment corresponding to their contribution when they accomplish the arranged task. As an extrinsic factor, the incentive measure of payment may be implemented by the mechanism of formal payment contract. The Chapter 2 is the research about the formal payment contract of knowledge workers. Considering the character of the risk preference and loss aversion of knowledge workers, we analyze its influence to the formal payment contract and the character of best payment contract. The relationship between knowledge workers and enterprise is long-term, so the enterprise need utilize informal and long-term relational contract to encourage the knowledge workers except the formal contract.
