Government Function Transformation In Modern Urban Governance Theory

This paper’s research methods mainly contain theory analysis and empirical analysis. Itmakes a research about the modern city, urban management, the transformation of governmentfunctions related with problems. It aims to the question and the reason of the city managementfunctions of present city government fulfilled, provides the theory practice instruction andconcrete realization path for local government function change for our country’s modern citygovernment function change and better promote the sustainable development of modern city,reduces social contradictions and achieves social harmony.The whole essay is divided into five parts: The first parts is preface part, mainly discussesthe research background, purpose and significance, home and broad research situation, theresearch content and research methods, and modern city, urban management, the transformationof government functions associated with concepts. The second part mainly investigates the newrequirements of transformation of government functions proposed the modern city processesfrom the perspective of modern urban development, and analyses the urgency of thetransformation of government functions through the actual data. The third part basicallyexpounds the existing problems of the urban management function fulfilled at the present stage,and analyses in detail the main causes of the existing problems. The fourth part proposes themain five channels of government function change in the modern urban management,respectively is promoting public participation, making scientific plan and decision, speeding upthe city culture construction, building "big urban management" system and modern "citydisease" prevention and treatment. The last part is the conclusion.
