| In recent years, workflow technology in the commercial, banking, energy and otherfields have been widely used, and have increasingly close relationship with the businessprocess. Workflow technology which originated with OA in the1960s has played a greatvalue in BPM BPR technology.Currently, the research of workflow management theory and implementationtechnical have been mainly followed as: workflow model and workflow definitionlanguage, workflow systems security management, research of workflow systemsdistribution technology, research of workflow integration and inter operability, simulationanalysis of workflow systems, and so on.This thesis focuses on the application of workflow simulation technology in thebusiness process. Enterprises which have used a new workflow system always take a greatrisk. If there are some problems need to be adjusted when they use the new workflowsystem for sometime, that will bring about serious losses. If they can do some pre-control,they may find lots of problems before and largely improve the flexibility andcompetitiveness of enterprises. Workflow simulation technology meet the needs ofenterprises.Domestic and international study on the workflow simulation system is mainlyfocused in two directions: study on the simulation performance of workflow system, studyon the simulation mechanism and architecture of workflow system. The main purpose ofthis paper is the simulation of business process, so the research of simulation mechanismsand performance indicators are mainly for the business processes. After analysis, using theextended Petri-net workflow model for process modeling. When we do some hard study onworkflow simulation mechanisms, we decide to design a business process workflowsimulation system using Microsoft Windows Workflow Foundation platform. This systemcan support the workflow process modeling, and statistics related performance indicatorsanalyzed in order to analysis and achieve BPR process. |
